Vendetta 10 – V for Vendetta

Possibly one of the easiest fakes to tell the difference. We found ours on eBay for $16.99 and included free shipping! What a deal. The seller also offers Bruce Lee (4 variations), Michael Jackson (5 variations), Kobe Bryant and other items all for the same price. The item was ordered on May 9th and was coming from China. It was delivered on May 28th.

After receiving the item, we reached out to the seller and asked “Hello, I received the item. Is this an official Funko?” (the seller had used a stock photo). They responded with “Hello, this is produced and sold in China”. We followed up with “It appears to be different then my others but still carries the Funko brand and logo. I may be uneducated in this area…what does it mean when you say produced and sold in China? Is there 2 different Funko companies? I thought all Funko was produced in China”. We are still awaiting a response.

  • The fake Vendetta was packed super tight and was very hard to remove from the damaged box.

        • In “Vendetta” on the real one, the T’s connect campared to the fake which do not.

          • The “V” on Vendetta’s hat are different, it looks the the fake one fades out.

         

        • The fake Vendetta has a darker shade of yellow on the “Pop!” logo.

        • On the real Vendetta, there is a manufacture date sticker, on the fake there is not.

         

        • The Funko logo on the fake is a different than the real

         

        • There is more shin on the hat of the real Vendetta compared to the fake.
        • To start you can see a clear height difference, this is caused by the fake having a shorter body.

         

        • There is more blush on the real compared to the fake.

         

        • The belt buckle, knife, and shoes on the real Vendetta is much more shiny than the fake
          • The fake “Blister Pack” has tabs when the real one does not, this is probably due to the real Vendetta being old.

           

          • The area for Vendetta’s arms to rest in the fake insert is different from the real insert.
