Fake Vs. Real

Dr. Doom 17 – Fantastic 4

While we were looking for some other “Fake” Pops! to cover we came across some Dr. Doom pops that were for sale for cheap from China so we decided to give it a go. We bought ours on eBay as the seller had an amazing amount of positive reviews. The item was ordered on May 9th and arrived on June 4th. The cost was $15.99 and included shipping.

After receiving the item we reached out to the seller as we normally do.“Hello, We received this one from you and the picture is very blurry on the front and side of the box. I am really surprised because we have 2 others of this Pop! and it is not even close to being the same.” They replied with “Quality Goods”. This was found to be very humorous so we replied with “How is it Quality” in which they replied with “Good Quality”.

At this point, we decided to send one last message “Hello, the item is actually not good quality. The box is not the same as all of my other Funko products. It is very blurry and looks like it was made on a copy machine. I am very disappointed with this purchase”. Their response…”Hello, friend, the quality is very good, please rest assured”.
